Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival
Lazy Daze Festival has been selected as one of the Southeast Tourism Society's Top 20 Events for August 2011! The festival will be held in downtown Cary.
Each August, the Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival welcomes over 350 artists and fine crafters from all over the country to Cary.
Lazy Daze features great performing artists on stage. Each end of the festival has a performance stage and there is a children's entertainment stage in the Kids World Area. Featuring the best of regional talent, entertainers range from local dance groups to beach bands, bluegrass, classic rock and more. Take a break from shopping and let us entertain you!A great selection of non-profit groups from Cary and Wake County and professional concessions vendors provide concessions. Foods include polish sausages, funnel cakes, kettle corn, hot dogs, and cold drinks. Concessions will be featured in several locations throughout the festival area. Get your favorite festival food and enjoy the last lazy daze of summer with your friends and family!
Kid's World is an interactive area of the festival just for our smallest patrons! Children of all ages can get creative with make-and-take art activities. This year's art activities feature create-your-own bicycle name plates, festive, fun create-your-own hats, bracelets and necklaces.
Also in Kid's World - cool off in the misting tent and enjoy yummy food and special kids entertainment!
